The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has information that as a result of Israeli strikes on June 19, key buildings of the Iranian heavy water research site in Khondaba were damaged. This was reported on June 20 by The Times of Israel newspaper with reference to the IAEA statement.

"The IAEA has information that key buildings at the Iranian heavy water research facility in Khondaba were damaged as a result of Israeli strikes, including a distillation unit," the material says.

It is reported that this information is an updated version of the assessment made on June 19, in which the IAEA stated that the reactor was hit, but there was no radiation contamination.

The day before, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the country's Air Force had attacked an inactive nuclear reactor in Arak, as well as a nuclear weapons development facility in Natanz. In addition, under the leadership of the IDF intelligence agency, 40 fighter jets struck dozens of military targets in Tehran and other areas throughout Iran.
