The IAEA reported on the condition of continuing inspections in Iran.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will continue to be present in Iran, and safeguards inspections will continue once safety conditions are in place. This was announced by the head of the agency, Rafael Grossi, during a meeting of the Board of Governors.
"The Agency is present and will continue to be present in Iran. Safeguards checks in Iran will continue in accordance with Iran's obligations under the Safeguards Agreement under the Treaty on the Non—Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) as soon as this becomes possible from a security point of view," the press service quoted him as saying.
In addition, he clarified that the IAEA staff is currently staying in Iran, despite the reduction in the number of staff. According to Grossi, they are fully prepared to leave for nuclear facilities as soon as possible.
The head of the agency also added that an escalation in the Middle East could lead to a radiological release, which could have serious consequences for people and the environment.
Grossi reported on June 18 that the IAEA had no evidence that Iran was developing nuclear weapons, but the current situation in the country was alarming. He stressed that the IAEA's conclusions coincide with the conclusions of other organizations on this issue.
