- The court placed under house arrest the woman involved in the sale of the car of Tarkhov's murdered wife

Investigators have charged a relative of alleged accomplices in the murder of former Samara mayor Viktor Tarkhov and his wife Natalia with fraud. This was reported on June 19 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Samara region have charged 78-year—old Taisiya Kiseleva with committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Fraud committed on a large scale)," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the defendant fraudulently took possession of the car of the mayor's wife, and then sold it to a local resident for more than 1 million rubles. Currently, she has been given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
In addition, the department noted that the woman is a relative of Svetlana Metreveli, a native of the Samara region, and her nephew Dmitry, who are accused of complicity in the murder of Tarkhov.
The murder of the ex-mayor of Samara Tarkhov and his wife Natalia became known on February 5. According to the investigation, they died about a month before the discovery of the bodies. The last time they were recorded was by surveillance cameras in the entrance of the house. After that, no one saw the couple, although messages continued to arrive on their behalf. Friends of the family contacted the police with a statement about the couple's disappearance.
Ekaterina, the granddaughter of the ex-mayor, was arrested on suspicion of double murder. According to the investigation, she had been sending SMS messages from Tarkhov and his wife's phones for a month. She also started selling her grandparents' property using forged documents. According to the Izvestia source, Ekaterina claimed that Tarkhov and his wife had left the country.
On May 16, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced that it had charged Svetlana Metreveli and Dmitry in absentia with complicity in the murder of Tarkhov. It is noted that Svetlana, being outside the Russian Federation, gave Belskaya advice and instructions, and Dmitry helped her on the spot. Both are on the international wanted list.
