Manturov visited the exposition of the Soul of Russia pavilion at SPIEF 2025
On Thursday, June 19, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov inspected the exposition of the Soul of Russia pavilion at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
The idea of the pavilion belongs to the sociocreative platform of the Roscongress Foundation, the Innosocium Foundation, created with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and the PSB Bank.
The author who designed the exhibition presented the idea of Russia as a multi-layered cultural system that united dozens of peoples, languages and visual codes. The Soul of Russia pavilion features examples of collaborations between modern brands and traditional crafts, as well as projects that symbolize the traditions and cultural code of the peoples of different regions of the country.
Among them are handmade carpets from Dagestan, porcelain from the city of Sysert, Sverdlovsk region, silk scarves from the Fashion House of the Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Chechnya Aishat Kadyrova, examples of Mikhailovsky lace and other exhibits.
On June 18, it was reported that the stands of the regions participating in the SPIEF Investment & Business Expo at SPIEF 2025 were united by a single concept within the framework of the Soul of Russia project. Each pavilion in it includes elements of national ornament that reflect the cultural code of a particular subject of the Russian Federation, its features and traditions.
"The Soul of Russia" is an initiative that unites the unique heritage of our country into a common space of dialogue and cooperation, the organizers said. 29 regions of Russia, including two combined stands, are taking part in the thematic exhibition.
