Krasnov signed a cooperation program with colleagues from Angola and Cuba
Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov signed a number of interdepartmental documents on cooperation with foreign colleagues from Cuba and Angola within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025). The footage was shared by Izvestia on June 19.
"The document provides for the possibility of coordinating our work within key international formats, promoting common positions, and jointly participating in legal anti—corruption education for our youth," Krasnov said.
It is specified that the agreement was signed between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and the General Control Directorate of Cuba as a result of the implementation of previously reached agreements on the exchange of experience and best practices. According to Krasnov, this document will contribute to further strengthening ties at the expert level.
In addition, during his meeting with his Cuban counterpart Yamila Pena Ojeda and the head of the General Control Department of Cuba, Mirian Marban Gonzalez, the issue of combating corruption was discussed. Krasnov stressed that the signed agreement will become the basis for the development of professional contacts in this field.
On June 16, Krasnov and his colleague from Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, held a meeting at the Russian Prosecutor General's Office and signed a cooperation program. It is specified that the agreement provides for the exchange of practices on the use of digital technologies in supervisory activities, combating corruption, terrorism, extremism, as well as joint training activities.
