Israeli Defense Minister orders increased strikes on strategic targets in Iran

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said on Thursday, June 19, that he had ordered increased strikes against strategic and government targets in Iran.
"I have instructed the IDF (Israel Defense Forces — Ed.) to intensify attacks on strategic targets in Iran and on government targets in Tehran," Katz wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Katz linked his order to Iran's strikes "on hospitals and residential buildings in Israel," calling the attacks the most serious war crimes.
On the same day, it was reported that several rockets fired from Iran hit residential areas in southern Israel. One of them hit the hospital. It was clarified that at least 20 rockets were fired into Israel as a result of the attack. Strong explosions were heard in central Israeli cities, where at least three direct hits were recorded.
