The head of the Business Chamber of India noted the role of the SPIEF as an indicator of the importance of the Russian Federation

SPIEF 2025 provides incredible opportunities and shows the importance of Russia. Manpreet Singh Nagi, President of the Indian Chamber of International Business (ICIB), told Izvestia on June 19 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"This forum is just amazing, <...> I think it's an amazing opportunity. People from more than 140 countries are present here, and this underlines the importance of Russia," he said.

The head of the Business Chamber also noted the warm fraternal relations between Russia and India.

"Of course, this is not only about the ties between India and Russia, but also about the opportunity to interact with the rest of the world through Russia, including Latin America and Africa," he concluded.

Singh Nagi also called the BRICS cooperation at the forum amazing, especially considering the opportunities opening up here.
