The Russian Embassy in Australia revealed the volume of Canberra's assistance to Kiev

The total amount of support for Kiev from Australia has exceeded the mark of $ 1 billion. At the same time, more than $800 million has been allocated in the form of supplies of weapons and military equipment. This was stated to Izvestia at the Russian Embassy in Australia.
The "attraction of unheard-of generosity in the Australian way" is Bushmaster and M113 armored personnel carriers, towed M777 howitzers and 155—millimeter artillery shells for them, drones, UAV counteraction systems, mine clearance equipment, portable X-ray machines, 3D metal printers manufactured by local companies DroneShield, Micro-X, Minelab, SPEE3D and others.", — the Russian diplomats reported.
In July 2024, at the NATO summit in Washington, Canberra announced the largest aid package to Ukraine worth almost $170 million, which includes air defense missiles, air–to-ground weapons (including guided missiles), anti-tank weapons, ammunition for artillery guns, mortars and small arms. Since January 2023, Canberra has been participating in the Interflex international program supervised by London: Australian instructors train recruits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Britain as part of Operation Kudu. Since January 2024, the number of a quarterly rotating group of Australians has increased from 70 to 90 people.
"In October 2024, Australia announced the transfer to Kiev of 49 decommissioned American-made M1A1 Abrams tanks. It is noteworthy that they left the Green Continent only this year, literally on the eve of the start of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul," the Russian diplomatic mission noted.
The Labor government led by Anthony Albanese clearly confirms the immutability of the policy of supporting the Kiev regime. This idea is being imposed on the local society day after day as not only "true", but also in the interests of Australians. At the same time, the statements of the country's officials are heavily involved in the concept of combating "Russian imperialism," the Russian Embassy in Australia summed up.
