Atmospheric pressure in Moscow may drop to record lows on Thursday, June 19. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist of the Meteonosti news agency, reported this in her Telegram channel on Wednesday, June 18.

According to the forecaster, on June 19, the weather in the central part of Russia will be formed by an extensive cyclonic zone, writes Moscow 24.

"And although the main center of this depression will be in Siberia, above the middle Ob River, the atmospheric pressure in Moscow will drop to 735 mmHg. This means that it is possible to set a new low pressure record," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the specialist as saying.

She added that atmospheric pressure in Moscow will return to normal by the weekend, RT reports.

Earlier in the day, the Hydrometeorological Center predicted cloudy weather with clarifications, short-term rain, and thunderstorms in the capital region on Wednesday, June 18.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +20 to +22 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +12.
