The German politician pointed to the formation of a new world order at SPIEF 2025

A new world order is being formed right now. This was stated to Izvestia on June 18 by the head of the German Council for Constitution and Sovereignty, Ralf Niemeyer, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"It's a great opportunity to meet a lot of people. There is a great atmosphere here, 140 countries have met here. This is a new world order that is being formed right now. Many countries have arrived, but many countries of the Western world have not arrived, and we can only wonder why," he said.
Niemeyer also noted the beauty and cultural richness of St. Petersburg.
Earlier that day, experts reported that the amount of contracts concluded for SPIEF 2025 could amount to 7.5 trillion rubles. It was noted that among the key deals will be projects in the fields of technological sovereignty, import substitution, digitalization of the economy, modernization of infrastructure and development of cooperation with partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
