Russian servicemen told about the liberation of Alekseevka and Zelenyi Kut in the DPR

Soldiers of the 114th brigade of the 51st Combined arms army, as part of the Center group of forces, liberated two settlements - Alekseevka and Zelyony Kut in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on June 18 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The ministry noted that preparations for the liberation operation, during which FPV drones and Grad multiple launch rocket systems were used, had been underway for several weeks. At the same time, the offensive was conducted using the tactics of covert accumulation of forces and methodical assault.
The servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, moving mainly at night, also used individual means of camouflage — anti-drone ponchos and special blankets. These tools helped to avoid detection by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and thermal imagers of the enemy.
"It was not easy to enter, they used anti-drone ponchos. After that, infantry was conducted from the village of Andreevka across the field, as the enemy could not detect us from drones," said Nikita Galik, commander of the assault company.
According to him, the servicemen entered the first street of Andreevka in twos. After a sufficient number of personnel had been accumulated, the Russian Armed Forces conducted reconnaissance and launched an offensive. Galik clarified that the work was carried out mainly at night.
Tank company commander Yevgeny Sukhanov, in turn, said that it would be very difficult to launch an offensive without tank support. The tankers struck at certain enemy points, thereby helping the infantry move forward.
"The stormtroopers are moving through the landings, through the settlements. If they can't get through somewhere, they give us the coordinates, we jump into position, hit the target. That's it, the attack aircraft are moving on," said tank company commander Yuri Poliy.
According to the Ministry of Defense, after fully establishing control over Alekseevka and the liberation of neighboring Zeleny Kut in a short time, the Russian Armed Forces entered the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
On June 14, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that units of the Center group of forces had liberated the village of Zelyony Kut in the DPR. At the same time, Russian military personnel attacked the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades in the areas of the DPR settlements, including Razino, Dimitrov, Alekseevka.
