33% of monthly precipitation fell in the south of Moscow

25 mm of rain fell in the south of Moscow, or 33% of the monthly precipitation rate. Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather center, announced this in his Telegram channel on Tuesday, June 17.
"Over the past day in the capital, at the base weather station of the VDNKH megacity, only 1 mm of rain fell into the precipitation meters. Only traces of precipitation were noted at the Baltschug weather station. But in the south of the capital, in Butovo, 25 mm of rain fell, which is a third (33%) of the June norm," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.
At the same time, precipitation was unevenly distributed in the Moscow region. So, in the eastern half of the region there were practically none, and in the western half of the region the rains were heavy in places: 15 mm of precipitation fell in Mozhaysk, and 29 mm in Mikhnevo, writes "Moscow 24". This is 44% of the total norm of the first summer month, RIAMO clarifies.
On June 16, the forecaster noted in an interview with Izvestia that in the coming week, cyclones will continue to determine the weather in the capital, which will provide daily precipitation and a gradual decrease in temperature.
