- The head of the Iranian General Staff called on residents of Tel Aviv and Haifa to leave the cities.

The head of the Iranian General Staff, Abdulrahim Mousavi, on Tuesday, June 17, called on residents of the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa to leave them.
"Residents of the occupied territories, especially Tel Aviv and Haifa, have been warned to leave these areas to save their lives," Mousavi said, as quoted by the Iranian Mehr news agency.
In addition, Mousavi noted that the operations carried out by Iran against Israel so far were only a warning.
"A punitive operation will be carried out in the near future," he concluded.
Earlier in the day, Tasnim news agency reported that as a result of an attack by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran on military intelligence buildings and the headquarters of the Israeli Mossad north of Tel Aviv, many Israeli soldiers and senior officers were killed.
According to the agency, the attack targeted Israeli security and intelligence centers, including the Amman Military Intelligence Organization, the Intelligence and Operations Service, as well as a special Mossad unit.
Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
