US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of transferring bunker buster bombs to Israel. This was reported on June 17 by the Axios portal, citing sources.

"Trump views the powerful bunker buster bombs needed to destroy Iran's underground enrichment facility at Fordo <...> as a key lever of pressure," the article says.

According to an unnamed senior American official, the goal is to try to force Iran to make a deal. He described the relevant decision as a "turning point."

In addition, it is noted that at the moment, Trump refuses to directly participate in Israel's attacks on Iran, but has made it clear that Tehran needs to be prevented from obtaining nuclear weapons.
