Maduro pointed to the special role of Putin and Xi Jinping in the reconciliation of Iran and Israel

Only Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping can stop the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel. This was announced on June 16 by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

"Only decent leadership, like that of President Vladimir Putin and President Xi Jinping, could resolve this situation and bring it to a cease—fire," the Venezolana de Television channel quoted him as saying.

Maduro noted that the Russian president and the Chinese president are the only ones who are able to resolve the conflict between Iran and Israel.
