A suspect in the murder of a businessman in Primorsky Krai was detained in Moscow

A suspect in the murder of a businessman in Primorsky Artyom was detained in Moscow. This was announced on June 17 by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region.

"The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Primorsky Territory have opened a criminal case into the discovery of the body of a 51-year-old man with signs of violent death in the city of Artyom, Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder")," the Telegram channel said.

During the investigation, the staff found the car in which the victim was traveling. According to preliminary data, the conflict between the men arose on domestic grounds in this car.

The investigators and operatives examined the video surveillance footage and identified the individuals with whom the businessman had communicated that evening. One of them was detained at the Moscow airport. An investigation is currently underway, the department added.

The Investigative Committee of the Novosibirsk Region reported on June 16 that a 53-year-old resident of the region killed his friend, then dismembered her and threw the remains into a trash can. It is specified that while drinking alcohol, a conflict arose between the suspect and his friend, as a result of which the defendant took a knife and stabbed vital organs. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
