- Israeli media reported on the shutdown of the refinery in Haifa after the Iranian attack

All facilities of the Bazan Group oil refinery have suspended their operations in the city of Haifa in Israel due to strikes by the Iranian Armed Forces. This was reported on June 16 in the Israeli state television and radio company Kan with reference to the company.
"As a result of a direct strike [by the Iranian Armed Forces], the power plant responsible for part of the steam and electricity production used by the [Bazan] group facilities was significantly damaged. <...> Currently, all facilities of the refinery and its subsidiaries have been shut down," the publication says.
It is noted that during the Iranian attack on Monday night, three people were killed at Bazan facilities. The company is currently assessing additional damage and determining the best ways to fix it, the publication added.
The refinery in Haifa was also attacked on June 14. The Iranian ballistic missile attack on the plant was reported by the IRNA news agency.
