The weather forecaster spoke about the weather in Moscow this week

Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, spoke about the weather expected in Moscow this week.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, June 16, the expert noted that the capital's weather resembles the weather in Eastern Siberia, which is characterized by drops from +25 to +15 degrees. This is due to the change of air masses.
"Today and tomorrow we have a ridge of high pressure, and a good 48-hour long pause in the rains. The temperature will pick up and reach +23, +24 degrees," Shuvalov said.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, June 18, it will start to get colder, and by Friday the thermometer will drop to +15...+17 degrees. And the daytime temperature will not exceed the mark of +20 degrees next week. Short-term rains are also forecast. Signs of warming to +30 degrees are expected no earlier than the very end of the month.
Earlier in the day, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading expert at Meteonosti, told Izvestia that cyclones would continue to determine the weather in Moscow in the coming week, which would ensure daily precipitation and a gradual decrease in temperature.
On the same day, Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Service's crisis management department, told the Moscow city News agency that the air temperature in the city could drop to +14 degrees over the coming weekend. On Saturday, the air temperature will be +15...+20 degrees, on Sunday — +14...+19 degrees, there will be a short rain, the website writes kp.ru .
Also on June 16, forecaster Alexander Ilyin reported that rains and clouds are expected in the capital and the region from June 17. At night, the air temperature can drop to +6 degrees, writes Life.ru . In an interview with RT, the specialist noted that on Thursday the temperature will drop to +16...+21 °C, and the rains will become heavy. 5-10 mm of precipitation is expected in the city on June 18, and 10-15 mm may fall on June 19, Moscow 24 clarifies.
