The IDF reported a new strike on southern Lebanon


The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has attacked southern Lebanon amid ongoing attacks on Iran. This was reported on June 16 in the Telegram channel of the IDF.
"The IDF attacked and killed a Hezbollah terrorist in the Houla area of southern Lebanon," the report said.
On May 31, the IDF announced that the Israeli army had eliminated the commander of the Hezbollah missile unit, Mohammed Ali Jamul, in southern Lebanon. According to the press service, Jamul was trying to restore Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure in the Deir ez-Zahrani area.
Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
