In Kuzbass, a pensioner beat his friend to death with a chopping board

A pensioner beat a 70-year-old friend to death with a chopping board during an argument in the Kemerovo region. This was reported on June 16 by a source of Izvestia.

"The body of an elderly man with multiple head injuries was found in his own apartment on June 9. Traces of drinking alcohol were also found there," the source notes.

It is clarified that a few days later, the 66-year-old pensioner confessed to what he had done. He was detained. A criminal case has been opened against him under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").

Earlier that day in Novosibirsk, a local resident dismembered his friend and threw the remains into a trash can. It was noted that while drinking alcohol, a conflict arose between the suspect and his friend, as a result of which the defendant took a knife and stabbed the friend. After that, the man dismembered the body, put the parts in a bag and threw them into a trash can.
