The IDF announced the destruction of a third of Iran's missile launchers.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in response to Iran's attacks, destroyed a third of all rocket launchers in the possession of the Islamic Republic. This was announced on June 16 by IDF spokesman Efi Defrin.

"The IDF forces have destroyed about a third of all missile launchers of the Iranian regime. At the same time, the Air Force destroyed more than 20 surface-to—surface missiles," the Srgim portal quoted him as saying at a briefing.

Defrin said that over the past day, the Israeli army has hit more than 100 military targets in Isfahan.

At the same time, prolonging the fighting increases Tehran's chances, experts say.

The IDF press service also reported earlier that day that the Israeli Air Force destroyed a rocket launcher and military personnel who carried out the launches near Tehran. It is specified that the troops were eliminated, and the launcher was dismantled. In addition, the IDF confirmed the elimination of four senior Iranian intelligence officials, including the head of the central intelligence agency of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
