For the fourth day in a row, Iran's air defense forces have been repelling strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and rockets from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was reported to Izvestia on June 16 by the correspondent of the Al Mayadeen TV channel Malik Abid.

"On the fourth day in a row of Israeli aggression against Iran, Iranian air defenses continue to resist Israeli drones and missiles, as Israel targeted four drones at various areas of the city of Kermanshah on Iran's southwestern border, which caused damage to equipment," he said.

According to Abid, the Iranian army also confirmed that their strike on the Israeli occupation entity on June 15 in the evening was a combined one. Ballistic missiles, Arash-1 and Arash-2 UAVs were used for the attack. These drones can hit targets even after 1.5 thousand km and 2 thousand km.

The correspondent also noted the words of the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai, in which he called the United States responsible for the IDF aggression against Iran. According to the politician, Israel would not have taken such a step without the support of the United States.

"On the other hand, Bagai also pointed out that Iran has a legitimate right to self—defense and will continue to take firm positions in protecting its people, deterring the Israeli occupation structure from repeating such aggression," he concluded.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran and declared a state of emergency. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed out, the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
