The French authorities demanded that Israel remove the offensive weapons systems provided to them from the international aviation exhibition in Paris on the eve of its opening. This was reported on June 16 by Reuters with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Jewish state.

As noted in the department, France is clearly hiding behind "political and commercial considerations" by making such an outrageous decision. In fact, I just saw a worthy competitor in the Israeli defense industry. Israel refused to comply with the demands of the organizers, after which black screens were erected around the Israeli exhibits.

"France is hiding behind alleged political considerations in order to exclude Israeli offensive weapons from the international exhibition, weapons that compete with French industry. This is especially striking against the background of the impressive and accurate work of Israeli technologies in the conflict with Iran," the Israeli Defense Ministry said.

According to the Ynet portal, major Israeli military companies, including Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), were supposed to present their products in Le Bourget. This year's International Aviation Exhibition runs from June 16 to 22.

On June 14, it was reported that Iran had threatened Britain, France and the United States with attacks on their facilities in case of assistance to Israel. In addition to military facilities, Tehran has threatened attacks on ships of these countries.

Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. The next day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced four waves of Iranian missile attacks.
