Israel's Ministry of Health says 287 injured after Iran strikes


Last night, 287 injured people were admitted to Israeli hospitals after rocket attacks from Iran. This was announced on June 16 by the Ministry of Health of the country.
"During the night, 287 victims were admitted to hospitals (with ambulance crews or on their own). One of them is seriously injured, and 13 have moderate injuries," the BHol portal reports.
It is noted that 240 people had minor injuries, 11 victims had a state of shock. No other patients have been mentioned yet.
According to the Ynet portal, as a result of the overnight shelling of Israel by Iran, the total death toll has increased to eight people. The body of an 80-year-old man was recovered in Bnei Brak. In Petah Tikva, three people were killed as a result of a direct rocket hit into a safe room and another when a rocket hit a building. Three victims were found in Haifa.
On the same day, the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, announced that the building of the American Embassy in Tel Aviv had received minor damage as a result of a rocket explosion fired from Iran. According to the diplomat, the U.S. Embassy and consulate in Israel will remain closed during the day. Izvestia published video footage from the site of the Iranian rocket explosion in the center of Tel Aviv, where it is clear that almost all the houses there were destroyed.
