Ten IRGC soldiers were killed while repelling an Israeli attack in northwestern Iran


In northwestern Iran, 10 soldiers from the air defense forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed while repelling an Israeli air attack. This was reported on June 16 by the Iranian YJC news agency.
"The IRGC of West Azerbaijan province announced the names of 10 dead soldiers of the 3rd Hamza air defense Division during the repulse of an Israeli attack on the city of Urmia," the media Telegram channel said.
Earlier in the day, Tasnim news agency reported that two soldiers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Zanjan province in northwestern Iran. It was noted that one of the dead was the commander of the troops of the Ijrud district.
