The armed confrontation between Israel and Iran will continue for several weeks. This was stated on June 15 by Mohsen Rezai, a member of the Council for Determining the Political expediency of Iran's decisions.

The official said that on Saturday, June 14, Israel planned to carry out a new attack on Iran, but the leadership of the Islamic Republic resisted, which made it possible to avoid being hit.

"In response, we have also taken countermeasures, which I will discuss shortly. Therefore, this battle continues and will continue in the coming weeks," he said on Iranian television.

According to the official, there is also a possibility that the scale of the war will become "more serious."

In addition, a 3D map with the location of allegedly secret Israeli facilities was shown on the air, which Iran announced missile and drone strikes "in the coming days."

Earlier in the day, it was reported about Iran's missile strikes on Ben Gurion Airport. As a result of Iran's missile strikes, two buildings near the Israeli northern city of Haifa and a synagogue in the south of the country were also damaged.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
