As a result of an explosion in a residential area of the Israeli city of Bat Yam after an Iranian ballistic missile strike, many houses were completely destroyed. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia.

This is a residential area, everything here can collapse at any second, look at the scale of destruction, and it's from a single ballistic missile, look, everything is destroyed, and unfortunately, the bomb shelters cannot help, because there is not enough power for the bomb shelter to withstand such an explosion," said correspondent Nikita Kulyukhin..

According to the correspondent, buildings in the city can collapse at any moment, and there are also dead and injured.

"At night, after the siren, some time passed, we returned to the apartment. And then there was an explosion, and the whole apartment was smashed, everything. <… > We are on the first floor and the room is completely, two rooms, completely [destroyed]," said 76—year-old victim, Russian-speaking resident Raisa Khabibullina.

The resident shared that in addition to her apartment, the neighbors' apartment was damaged, while two people died as a result of the impact. Khabibullina clarified that the debris of the building fell on her head, after which she was hospitalized in a medical facility.
