The Israeli Air Force attacked a tanker plane at the airport of Mashhad, Iran

In eastern Iran, the Israeli Air Force attacked an Iranian tanker plane at Mashhad Airport. This was announced on June 15 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Telegram channel.
"Some time ago, the Israeli Air Force attacked an Iranian tanker aircraft at Mashhad Airport in eastern Iran, about 2.3 thousand km from Israel," the publication says.
It is noted that this was the longest-range strike since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Earlier in the day, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian warned of a more crushing response from Tehran if Israel continued to attack the country's territory. He stressed that every country striving for peace, security and stability must stand up to Israel.
On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
