After the explosions in the center of Tehran, which thundered as a result of an Israeli attack on the country, several residential buildings were destroyed. This was announced on June 15 by the correspondent of Al Mayadeen TV channel Malika Abida.

He recalled that last night Iran's air defense systems repelled attacks by Israeli drones and other flying objects in the airspace over the territory of Tehran.

New attacks have also been reported over the past few hours. For example, a military base was attacked in Isfahan, and the Israeli side also attacked targets in the provinces of Shiraz and Kurdistan.

"The situation is stable now. Shops and markets are operating normally, there is no shortage, and all necessary goods are available. But the transport system and medical institutions have been put into a special mode of operation almost everywhere," the correspondent stressed.

In addition, he stressed that all flights have been canceled at the moment. As a result, as the journalist notes, the main burden of passenger transportation falls on rail transport and cars. According to him, local authorities speak directly about martial law and urge to remain calm.

Abida stressed that Iranians continue their normal lives despite the fact that emergency services are on high alert.

"As for the safety of the population during the attacks, naturally, mosques and the subway will be open and accessible to people around the clock from tonight. Earlier, we had already provided schools as places of safety – many schools are recognized as safe, where one can find shelter," said Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani.

Earlier in the day, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian warned of a more crushing response from Tehran if Israel continued to attack the country's territory. He stressed that every country striving for peace, security and stability must stand up to Israel.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the task of the military operation attacks on the Iranian nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
