St. Petersburg law enforcement agencies managed to detain opera singer Grigor Werner, who attacked journalists of the 78 TV channel. Irina Volk, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, informed about this on June 15 in her Telegram channel.

"The St. Petersburg police detained a participant in the incident with the crew of one of the TV channels, he turned out to be a 43-year-old local resident," her Telegram channel says.

As Volk clarified, a check was organized on the fact of the incident. In accordance with its results, an appropriate procedural decision will be made.

The perpetrator faces imprisonment for obstructing the work of the media.

The attack of an opera singer on the crew of the 78 TV channel in St. Petersburg was reported earlier, on June 14. It is specified that after a conversation with journalists, Werner approached their car and began hitting the hood and windows. The singer also threatened the crew and tried to open the door of the vehicle.
