Police used rubber bullets against protesters in the United States
In the United States, police used rubber bullets to disperse protests against the migration policy of American leader Donald Trump. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on June 15.
"In the hands of our film crew, there was a part of the cartridge that law enforcement officers use to restrain the crowd," Nikolai Masters, a correspondent for Izvestia, said.
He noted that the cartridge is not lethal, although it can cause significant injuries.
The beginning of the arrests of protesters at a rally in the United States was reported earlier in the day.
Mass protests began in California on June 8 after a police raid to identify illegal migrants, during which 45 people were detained. Shortly after, Trump ordered the National Guard to be sent to the state to stop the riots, which was condemned by the governors of 22 states, regarding it as an "abuse of power."
