The head of the General Security Service of Israel (SHABAK), Ronen Bar, will transfer his powers to his deputy today. This was announced on Sunday, June 15, by the Ynet portal.

"During the war with Iran, the head of the SHABAK, Ronen Bahr, will complete his term today and resign as planned," the portal says.

For the next 30 days, the position will be transferred to the person who was Bar's deputy.

SHABAK is an organization engaged in counterintelligence activities and ensuring the internal security of the country.

Earlier, on June 14, it was reported about an Iranian strike on an oil refinery in Haifa. Powerful explosions in Haifa against the background of the Iranian attack were reported shortly before. The fall of Iranian missiles was recorded in the city.
