Israeli high-ranking officials believe that Israel can end the armed conflict with Iran within a few days while maintaining the current pace. On Saturday, June 14, an Israeli intelligence officer told Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst.

"I think we can end it (the fighting. — Ed.) in a few days. <...> It's good that the United States is on our side," the correspondent quotes him on his page on the social network X.

Israel also expects that the next few days will be tense due to the ongoing missile strikes from Iran and Israeli attacks on targets in the Islamic Republic, according to Yingst's publication.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

On the same day, Vladimir Leonidovich Shapovalov, a political scientist and deputy director of the Institute of History and Politics at Moscow State University, told Izvestia that the success of the US-Iranian negotiations would complicate Israel's position. According to him, the continuation of allied relations with the United States is possible for the Jewish state only in conditions of military conflict or the threat of military conflict.
