Tel Aviv conveyed to Tehran a message that if Israeli civilian settlements are threatened, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will strike at strategic infrastructure in Iran. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post on Saturday, June 14.

"Over the past 24 hours, Israel has conveyed to Iran a message that it will strike strategic infrastructure throughout the country if the Islamic Republic targets civilian settlements in Israel," the material says.

The newspaper also reported that senior Israeli officials held talks with senior officials of the administration of US President Donald Trump. The Israelis have expressed interest in American participation in attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, the newspaper claims.

Earlier in the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli Air Force would soon strike "every target" and facilities in Iran. He added that the strikes on Iranian territory are nothing compared to what the Israeli side is preparing.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks. The Mehr news agency reported on June 14 that Tehran had threatened Britain, France and the United States with attacks on their facilities in the Middle East if Israel helped repel the attacks.
