Corporal Gorelov carried out a wounded comrade from under the mortar attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Corporal Dmitry Gorelov, as part of the unit, carried out the task of supporting the assault groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the assault on the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Sunday, June 15, reported on the exploits of the Russian military committed in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

A Russian serviceman was wounded during the clash. He was unable to move due to his injury. Gorelov, despite the incessant mortar fire from the enemy, got close to the wounded man, carried him out from under fire and provided first aid. When the task was completed, Gorelov organized the evacuation of the injured soldier to the hospital.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage and bravery of Junior Sergeant Sergei Uzhnev, as well as the coordinated actions of his comrades. When they were monitoring the area using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), Uzhnev noticed a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was moving towards the Russian positions, while the Ukrainian soldiers were armed with small arms and grenade launchers. The junior sergeant immediately relayed the information to the command and received an order to destroy the enemy.

Uzhnev competently built a strategy to counter the saboteurs and led the fighting himself. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered significant losses and hastily retreated, abandoning the wounded and dead.

After capturing the village, Russian units repulsed four enemy counterattacks.

Earlier, on June 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that sailor Ilsur Khabipov was on duty at an observation post when he noticed a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was secretly moving in the direction of the Russian positions.
