Azerbaijan will not give the right to use its airspace or the country's territories for attacks on Iran. This was announced on June 14 by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi.

"Azerbaijan will in no case allow its airspace or territories to be used for attacks on Iran or other countries," the Iranian Foreign Ministry's press service quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.

Bayramov also expressed his condolences over the deaths of civilians and Iranian military leaders.

At the same time, Araqchi assessed Israel's attack on Iran as "a blatant violation of national sovereignty and violation of all international laws." In addition, he stated that the actions of the Israeli side jeopardize the security of the entire world.

The Iranian foreign minister assured that the country would deliver a "decisive blow" in response to the Israeli attacks.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone conversations with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Peseshkian and Netanyahu. He stressed that the Russian side condemns Israel's actions and will contribute to de-escalating the conflict between the states.
