- A blogger from the Russian Federation, who is stuck in Israel, spoke about the situation in the country
Iran's retaliatory missile attack on Israel is not "harmless" and raises concerns.
"The Iranian retaliatory attack is far from harmless and continues to raise serious concerns. We understand that such events affect not only military structures, but also ordinary people who find themselves in a difficult situation," blogger Fyodor Zobnin told Izvestia on June 14.
In total, Zobnin has been in Israel for about a month — he came to the Middle Eastern country as part of a training program. Later, his mother and seven-year-old brother also flew to him. According to the man, it was the first time he found himself in a situation where there were explosions from blows and alarm sirens.
At the same time, the blogger noted that the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are coping well with the tasks assigned to them. The locals are also distinguished by their mutual support for each other and their desire to remain optimistic even in a tense environment.
Earlier in the day, the IDF announced the beginning of the fourth wave of Iran's missile attack.
Prior to that, on June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency. Later, the Islamic Republic launched about 150-200 retaliatory missile strikes. As a result, 63 people were injured, and another 300 Israelis were evacuated.
