The negotiations between the United States and Iran on the nuclear deal were a "cover" before the start of the Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic. This was announced on May 14 by geopolitical analyst Brian Berletik on the social network X (Ex. Twitter).

"The world needs to stop 'negotiating' with the US and make it clear that any attack by explicit US proxies will be interpreted as an attack by the US itself, otherwise the US will destroy each country piece by piece," he wrote.

Berletik said that "collective deterrence" against the United States is needed to counter this approach. Moreover, as the analyst noted, it is necessary to start it "before the United States starts acting again."

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Later, the Islamic Republic launched about 150-200 retaliatory missile strikes. As a result, 63 people were injured, and another 300 Israelis were evacuated. Two Iranian rocket crashes were also reported in Israeli areas.
