Forecasters predicted heavy rain and cold snap in Moscow on June 14

Cloudy, raining, heavy in some places, thunderstorms in some areas and up to +17 degrees — this weather awaits residents of the metropolitan region on Saturday, June 14. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +15 to +17 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +11.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +13 to +18 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to +8.

A northerly wind with a speed of 6-11 m/s is expected, with gusts of up to 17 m/s in a thunderstorm.

The atmospheric pressure will be 742 mmHg.

Earlier, on June 11, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Moscow region warned that thunderstorms, heavy rain and wind gusts of 15-17 m/s were expected in the Moscow region on June 13 and 14. Due to the expected weather conditions, the agency recommended that, if possible, stay indoors with closed windows, stay away from trees, power lines, billboards and reservoirs.
