Iran has attacked missile production centers, as well as Israeli military industry facilities. This was announced on Friday, June 13, according to a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

"During this operation, missile and unmanned units of the IRGC Aerospace Forces, using a combination of point and intelligent systems, attacked military centers and air bases, as well as military-industrial centers that were used by the [IDF] for the production of missiles and other military equipment," the Telegram channel of the Tasnim news agency quoted the IRGC statement.

Field reports, satellite imagery and intelligence intercepts show that dozens of ballistic missiles have effectively hit strategic targets, the IRGC believes. They added that the operation was carried out in coordination with all the armed forces and departments of Iran.

On the same day, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

Later, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian stressed that Israel would receive an "appropriate response" for the strikes, which violate international rules. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in his address to the people, said that the Iranian army would use all force to respond to Israeli attacks.
