The IDF denied Iran's information about the captured female pilot.

The statement by the Iranian media about the capture of an Israeli fighter pilot is not true. This was announced on Friday, June 13, by Anna Ukolova, a representative of the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
"The information about the captured pilot, which is being told in Iran, is not true," she said.
The Iranian Tasnim news agency reported that the country's air defense systems were able to shoot down two Israeli fighter jets. According to this report, the pilot of one of these fighters, a woman, was captured.
On the same day, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
Later, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian stressed that Israel would receive an "appropriate response" for the strikes, which violate international rules.
