After the Israeli strikes, representatives of the Iranian authorities themselves contact the United States and request negotiations to conclude an agreement on the nuclear program. This was announced on June 13 on the air of the NBC television channel by the American President Donald Trump.

"They call me themselves and want to talk," Trump said, answering the question of why Iran would want to conclude a deal on its nuclear program after the Israeli attack.

The American leader added that we are talking about the same people with whom the United States worked earlier, although "many of them are already dead."

Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure, as well as ballistic missile factories. He called the beginning of the operation a success.

Later, Trump said he called on Iran to conclude a deal after the Israeli attack on the country's nuclear facilities. In addition, the American leader stressed that Israel has a lot of weapons from the United States and "they know how to use them."

The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli attack and pointed out that the state violated the UN Charter by its move. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also noted that Russia is concerned and condemns the sharp escalation of tension between Israel and Iran.
