Iran will consider withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

Iran is ready to consider the possibility of withdrawing from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) if the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) continues to adhere to its anti-Iranian policy. This was announced on June 12 by the official representative of the Parliamentary Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy of the Islamic Republic, Ibrahim Rezai.
"Taking into account the actions of the [IAEA] Board of Governors, the Islamic Republic of Iran needs to review its cooperation with the agency and consider withdrawing from the NPT," he was quoted as saying on the Tasnim agency's Telegram channel.
Thus, Rezai commented on the adoption of the IAEA anti-Iran resolution. He noted that this decision was made solely for political purposes and has no legal or technical grounds.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic announced that Iran, in response to the adoption of the IAEA anti-Iranian resolution, is launching a new uranium enrichment center, which will be located in a safe location. It is noted that all centrifuges in the new center will be replaced with more modern ones.
