The Verkhovna Rada called for a special meeting on the issue of fortifications.

Irina Gerashchenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the European Solidarity party, announced on June 11 that there were problems with the construction of fortifications and called for a closed session of parliament on the issue.
"There's trouble with fortifications. The events at the front prove the correctness of our assessments, demands and advice. We demand that critical steps be taken to build defensive structures," Gerashchenko wrote on her Telegram channel.
The MP called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice and the civil-military administrations to be removed from the construction of fortifications.
"To suspend, dismiss and bring them to criminal responsibility. To hold a closed session of the Verkhovna Rada with an honest discussion about the state of the defensive structures," Gerashchenko concluded.
On June 10, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mariana Bezuglaya accused the country's Ministry of Defense and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky of blocking the development of interceptor drones. In addition, she stressed that the control system in the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is "dysfunctional and fragmented."
