On June 11, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (FMS) to provide veterans and participants of the special military Operation (SVO) with all issues related to the provision of medical care.
"We must do everything possible to help our veterans, participants in a special military operation, in all matters related to the provision of medical care, and the issues of medical examination and rehabilitation should be under constant control, including the staff of your foundation," Mishustin said at a meeting with the head of the Federal Migration Service Ilya Balanin.
In addition, the Prime Minister wished the fulfillment of all the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin in this area, and called for the provision of medical services to the population at the highest level.
On June 10, Putin announced that work related to increasing the quality and accessibility of medical care for Russian citizens would continue. According to the head of state, over 6.5 thousand new medical and obstetric centers, hospitals and polyclinics have been created in various regions of Russia over the past six years. About 5.5 thousand medical institutions have also undergone major repairs.
