Ambassador Darchiev declared Russia's readiness to work painstakingly with the United States.

The Russian Federation is open to working with the United States, including on resolving issues related to the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on June 11 by Russian Ambassador to the United States Alexander Darchiev.

"Moscow is open to joint painstaking work on the settlement in Ukraine, including eliminating the root causes of the crisis, and on the rest of the extensive agenda of Russian-American relations, which have gradually begun to unfreeze," Darchiev said in an interview with TASS.

At the same time, he noted that the choice of the scenario remains with the American side. According to him, the Russian side is ready for dialogue based on "equality, strict reciprocity and respect for each other's national interests."

In addition, Darchiev stressed that the intention of the new White House team to restore ties with Russia gives hope for the best.
