American businessman and father of entrepreneur Elon Musk, Errol, said that his son wanted to buy a rocket in Russia, but he was refused. He announced this on June 10 during the Forum of the Future 2050.

"He was in Russia, trying to buy a rocket here. Where, as we all know, the best rockets are made. They didn't give him a rocket. We thought he was joking," Musk Sr. shared, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

The businessman's father clarified that shortly after the refusal, the production of Musk's own rocket in California and the founding of SpaceX began.

The day before, Musk's father shared his impressions of his first trip to Russia and expressed surprise that he had not visited this country before. According to the businessman, Moscow surpasses all other cities in the world.
