- Peskov said that the Russian Federation has no common ground for agreements with Europe.
European countries are focused on the continuation of the conflict, so there are no points of contact with them yet. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on June 10.
"So far, no common ground has been explored in future agreements with Europe. Europe is still focused on <conflict>, Europe is still, let's say, engaged in such militaristic bravado," Peskov said.
According to him, there are no signals from European countries about the desire to seek common ground. In addition, Peskov stressed that in the future it will be necessary to think together about the future security architecture in Europe.
On June 9, Dmitry Novikov, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said that Russia was interested in establishing good-neighborly relations, including with European states, after a special military operation. The deputy noted that Russia is aimed at forming a multipolar and just world, a world of equal countries and peoples. This approach is popular today in the majority of the world's countries, he added.
