The use of alcohol to prevent poisoning is hardly desirable. About this on June 9, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by Dmitry Karpenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy at the Institute of Clinical Medicine at Pirogov University.

"Alcohol does not kill all the bacteria, it does not neutralize the toxins that have already formed. It can only worsen the patient's condition because it causes dehydration," Karpenko said.

The doctor recommends that you properly store ready-made food outside the refrigerator, and wash your hands and food thoroughly before eating. These are more effective preventive measures than drinking alcoholic beverages.

Earlier, on June 8, doctor Vera Seryozhina spoke about the risk of allergies and infections when in contact with cockroaches. Saliva and chitinous particles that remain on surfaces and can get on food are dangerous.
