Kazakhstan is still awaiting Ukraine's response regarding the Ukrainian drone strike on the Kropotkinskaya station, part of the infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). This was announced on June 9 by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Aybek Smadiyarov.

"Of course, we will wait if they deign to respond. Will wait. You can send the same question to the Ukrainian side," Sputnik Kazakhstan quoted him as saying.

The diplomat added that Kazakhstan has taken all necessary actions through diplomatic channels to get a response from Kiev.

On May 23, the CPC reported that the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station, damaged after an attack by a Ukrainian UAV in February, was put into operation. The attack by Ukrainian drones on the CPC infrastructure took place on February 17. It will be clarified that there were no casualties among the company's employees. The workers managed to prevent the threat of an oil spill.
